Dr. Chris King is a founding member of the global-military advisory council on climate change and wrote “Understanding International Environmental Security: A Strategic Military Perspective” and serves as the Chief Academic Officer of the US Army’s Command and General Staff College. He talks about the overlap between pressing environmental and security concerns for America. He explains his experiences securing an area after a natural disaster, managing chemical weapons removal, dealing with toxic waste management, and addressing global climate change.
