October 30, 2011: Breaking Eden and God’s Secretaries

This week on Valley Voices — a politically charged play hits the Dartmouth stage.  Three members of the team putting together Breaking EDEN, an original play about the role of labor unions in American life today, join Liz to talk about where theater and politics intersect.  Director Christian Kohn, cast member Stewart Towle, and video designer Matthew Castellana give us a sneak peak of this new work.  For tickets to the show, starting the weekend of November 11th, visit hop.dartmouth.edu.

Plus, it’s the four hundredth anniversary of the publication of the King James Bible, and historian Adam Nicolson, author of God’s Secretaries: The Making of the King James Bible, joins us to talk about the people behind this 17th century government project.
